Despite a disappointment, a good price for Peter Newman
In September 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Skystation by Peter Newman for GBP 6,048.00 (€ 7,036.93). This price was achieved in the auction This is Tomorrow: Works from the David Ross Collection at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Skystation is the most expensive artwork by Peter Newman that we have observed at auction so far.
