Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kiss the Sky by Peter Newman was sold in the This is Tomorrow: Works from the David Ross Collection auction at Sothebys in London in September 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,520.00 (€ 2,932.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Newman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Skystation, which sold at auction in September 2021 for GBP 6,048.00 (€ 7,036.93).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.520,00 (€ 2.932,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
