Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April last year Phillips in an online auction held the auction Faces Places: Online Auction, which included this untitled work by Peter McDonald. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 52,920.00 (€ 6,398.41). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter McDonald achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work How it is in April last year with an auction result of HKD 1,512,000.00 (€ 182,811.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Faces Places: Online Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Peter McDonald zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 52.920,00 (€ 6.398,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter McDonald erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit How it is im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.512.000,00 (€ 182.811,81).
