Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter La Cave - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figures outside an inn, with a sow and piglets, houses beyond; and Figures sharpening a scythe, with two donkeys, farm buildings beyond, which sold at auction in October 2011 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,509.87).
