The work Three Nudes by Peter Lanyon was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. It achieved a price of GBP 2,816.00 (€ 3,263.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Lanyon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orpheus in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 1,268,750.00 (€ 1,431,111.45).

Die Arbeit Three Nudes von Peter Lanyon wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.816,00 (€ 3.263,13) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Lanyon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orpheus im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.268.750,00 (€ 1.431.111,45).
