Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Peter Kinley achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2017. In the Portrait of the Artist auction, the work without title sold for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,841.17) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Kinley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Studio Interior With Window (Blue) in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,892.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Kinley erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Portrait of the Artist wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.841,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Kinley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Studio Interior With Window (Blue) im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.892,33).
