Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2006 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental and Russian Pictures, which included the work Egg, Kettle And Dice, On A Ledge by Peter Kelly. The price achieved of GBP 360.00 (€ 534.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Kelly have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The music room, Long Hill, Massachusetts in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,671.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental and Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Egg, Kettle And Dice, On A Ledge von Peter Kelly zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 360,00 (€ 534,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Kelly auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The music room, Long Hill, Massachusetts im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.671,43).
