Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Selected Images by Peter Henry Emerson was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in New York in April 2015. The price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,279.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Henry Emerson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Selected Images, which sold at auction in October 2017 for USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,755.49).
