Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Railway Journey by Peter Greenham was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,917.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Peter Greenham have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2004 the work The Art School was auctioned for GBP 3,107.00 (€ 4,471.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Railway Journey von Peter Greenham kam im Juni 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.640,00 (€ 3.917,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Peter Greenham konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2004 die Arbeit The Art School für GBP 3.107,00 (€ 4.471,83) versteigert.
