Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Peter Blake achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2010. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Alphabet Series sold for GBP 14,375.00 (€ 16,626.21) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Blake achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boys with New Ties in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 662,500.00 (€ 934,116.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Blake erzielte im September 2010 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wurde die Arbeit Alphabet Series für GBP 14.375,00 (€ 16.626,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Blake erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boys with New Ties im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 662.500,00 (€ 934.116,68).
