Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Peter Bialobrzeski could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples auction, the work Nail Houses #34, Shanghai, 2013 changed hands for GBP 250.00 (€ 280.30) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Bialobrzeski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heimat #20, Allgaü 2003 in September 2010 with an auction result of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,048.12).
