This artwork by Percy French achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in March last year. In the British and European Art auction, the work Bogland scenes, a pair the first 14.3 x 20.6cm (5 5/8 x 8 1/8in), the second 12.7 x 17.8cm (5 x 7in).
