The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,250.35), 40% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Percy French have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Ha'Penny Bridge, Dublin in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,244.11).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.250,35) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Percy French auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Ha'Penny Bridge, Dublin im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.244,11).
