Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction British & Irish Art, which included the work New York by Percy French. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,699.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Percy French have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work The Ha'Penny Bridge, Dublin was auctioned for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,244.11).
