Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,048.00 (€ 2,389.40). Admittedly, works by Percy French have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Ha'Penny Bridge, Dublin in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,244.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.048,00 (€ 2.389,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Percy French auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Ha'Penny Bridge, Dublin im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.244,11).
