Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work La Conquista Del Chaco by Pedro Figari for USD 23,750.00 (€ 22,452.26). This price was achieved in the auction Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Pedro Figari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Baile Criollo in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 146,500.00 (€ 101,905.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit La Conquista Del Chaco von Pedro Figari für USD 23.750,00 (€ 22.452,26) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pedro Figari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Baile Criollo im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 146.500,00 (€ 101.905,95).
