Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Fountain and the Swallows by Pavel Makov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 1,764.00 (€ 2,075.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Pavel Makov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Our Tablecloth in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,734.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Fountain and the Swallows von Pavel Makov kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.764,00 (€ 2.075,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pavel Makov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Our Tablecloth im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.734,66).
