Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Paradiso Perduto by Pavel Makov was sold in the Contemporary East auction at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,777.35), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by Pavel Makov have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,734.66) in June 2009 for the work Our Tablecloth.
