Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work The Lovers by Pavel Tchelitchew. The price achieved of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 58,729.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pavel Tchelitchew achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Concert in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 1,385,000.00 (€ 1,619,289.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Lovers von Pavel Tchelitchew zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 58.729,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pavel Tchelitchew erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Concert im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.385.000,00 (€ 1.619.289,71).
