Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of Vladimir Dukelsky by Pavel Tchelitchew was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 30,240.00 (€ 35,504.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pavel Tchelitchew achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Concert in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 1,385,000.00 (€ 1,619,289.71).
