Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Barton by Paul Sample was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in February 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,139.99). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Sample achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Good Farming--Good Living in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 241,000.00 (€ 164,079.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Barton von Paul Sample wurde im Februar 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.139,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Sample erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Good Farming--Good Living im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 241.000,00 (€ 164.079,52).
