Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Luton Park, Bedfordshire by Paul Sandby was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 75,233.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Sandby have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sandby'S Views Of North Wales in July 2019 with an auction result of GBP 275,000.00 (€ 301,931.72).
