The work Sandby'S Views Of North Wales by Paul Sandby was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 275,000.00 (€ 301,931.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sandby'S Views Of North Wales is the most expensive artwork by Paul Sandby that we have observed at auctions so far.
