Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2000 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Selected portraits (1855-1870) by Paul Nadar. It changed hands for a price of USD 4,935.00 (€ 5,815.46) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Paul Nadar have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2008 the work Daguerre / Honoré De Balzac, Vers 1891-94 was auctioned for EUR 8,750.00.

Im Oktober 2000 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Selected portraits (1855-1870) von Paul Nadar zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 4.935,00 (€ 5.815,46) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Paul Nadar konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2008 die Arbeit Daguerre / Honoré De Balzac, Vers 1891-94 für EUR 8.750,00 versteigert.
