Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vue sur le village Abcoude (Hollande) by Paul Gabriël was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2011. The price achieved of EUR 11,875.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Gabriël have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A painter, possibly the artist W.B. Tholen, at work in a punter on a sunny day in October 2021 with an auction result of EUR 75,000.00.

Die Arbeit Vue sur le village Abcoude (Hollande) von Paul Gabriël wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 11.875,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
