Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vue du lac d'Acboude - Hollande by Paul Gabriël was sold in the Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2014. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Gabriël achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A painter, possibly the artist W.B. Tholen, at work in a punter on a sunny day in October 2021 with an auction result of EUR 75,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vue du lac d'Acboude - Hollande von Paul Gabriël wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Gabriël erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A painter, possibly the artist W.B. Tholen, at work in a punter on a sunny day im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 75.000,00.
