The work Waiting for master; and A break from the shoot by Paul Jones was sold in the Sporting & Wildlife Art, Including An Important Private Collection of works by Wilhelm Kuhnert and David Shepherd auction at Christies in London in December 2011. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,245.58), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Jones - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flushing a mallard; and Chasing a rabbit, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 5,400.00 (€ 7,946.47).

Die Arbeit Waiting for master; and A break from the shoot von Paul Jones wurde im Dezember 2011 in der Auktion Sporting & Wildlife Art, Including An Important Private Collection of works by Wilhelm Kuhnert and David Shepherd bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.245,58) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Jones mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flushing a mallard; and Chasing a rabbit beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 5.400,00 (€ 7.946,47) versteigert wurde.
