Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Man With Dogs; With The Catch by Paul Jones was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in July 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,495.19). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Jones - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flushing a mallard; and Chasing a rabbit, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 5,400.00 (€ 7,946.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Man With Dogs; With The Catch von Paul Jones kam im Juli 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.680,00 (€ 2.495,19) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Jones mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flushing a mallard; and Chasing a rabbit beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 5.400,00 (€ 7.946,47) versteigert wurde.
