In June 2006 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs, which included the work Setters In A Landscape; And Terriers Ratting by Paul Jones. The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 2,170.47) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Jones - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flushing a mallard; and Chasing a rabbit, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 5,400.00 (€ 7,946.47).

Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Setters In A Landscape; And Terriers Ratting von Paul Jones zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 2.170,47) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Jones mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flushing a mallard; and Chasing a rabbit beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 5.400,00 (€ 7.946,47) versteigert wurde.
