A top price for Paul Himmel - as previously expected
The work Nude on White Background, 2, 1951 by Paul Himmel was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in New York in February 2006. The price achieved of USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,830.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Nude on White Background, 2, 1951 is the most expensive artwork by Paul Himmel that we have observed at auctions so far.
