The work Retour à la ville by Paul Guiragossian was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Christies in Dubai in May this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 69,300.00 (€ 65,045.99), 73% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Paul Guiragossian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Lutte De L'Existence in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 605,000.00 (€ 445,049.29).

Die Arbeit Retour à la ville von Paul Guiragossian wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 69.300,00 (€ 65.045,99) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Guiragossian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Lutte De L'Existence im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 605.000,00 (€ 445.049,29).
