Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, which included the work Leçon de broderie by Paul Guiragossian. The price achieved of GBP 40,960.00 (€ 47,463.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Guiragossian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Lutte De L'Existence in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 605,000.00 (€ 445,049.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Leçon de broderie von Paul Guiragossian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 40.960,00 (€ 47.463,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Guiragossian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Lutte De L'Existence im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 605.000,00 (€ 445.049,29).
