Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Les Retrouvailles by Paul Guiragossian was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Bonhams in London in May this year. It achieved a price of GBP 35,840.00 (€ 41,700.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Guiragossian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Lutte De L'Existence in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 605,000.00 (€ 445,049.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Les Retrouvailles von Paul Guiragossian wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 35.840,00 (€ 41.700,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Guiragossian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Lutte De L'Existence im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 605.000,00 (€ 445.049,29).
