Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, which included the work Femme au Mirroir by Paul Guiragossian. The price achieved of GBP 6,400.00 (€ 7,416.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Guiragossian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Lutte De L'Existence in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 605,000.00 (€ 445,049.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femme au Mirroir von Paul Guiragossian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.400,00 (€ 7.416,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Guiragossian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Lutte De L'Existence im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 605.000,00 (€ 445.049,29).
