Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Oriflamme by Paul Guiragossian was auctioned at Christies in London in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,121.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Guiragossian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Lutte De L'Existence in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 605,000.00 (€ 445,049.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Oriflamme von Paul Guiragossian kam im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.121,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Guiragossian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Lutte De L'Existence im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 605.000,00 (€ 445.049,29).
