In November 2021 Christies held the auction Middle Eastern 20th and 21st Century Art, which included the work Noces (Laylat el Henna) by Paul Guiragossian. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 35,000.00 (€ 41,093.29), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Guiragossian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Lutte De L'Existence in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 605,000.00 (€ 445,049.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Middle Eastern 20th and 21st Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Noces (Laylat el Henna) von Paul Guiragossian zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 41.093,29) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Guiragossian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Lutte De L'Existence im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 605.000,00 (€ 445.049,29).
