Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2020 Christies in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, which included the work Masques Et Bergamasques by Paul Guiragossian. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 69,771.09). Admittedly, works by Paul Guiragossian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Lutte De L'Existence in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 605,000.00 (€ 445,049.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Masques Et Bergamasques von Paul Guiragossian zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 62.500,00 (€ 69.771,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Guiragossian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Lutte De L'Existence im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 605.000,00 (€ 445.049,29).
