Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIThe Finale, which included the work Bénédiction by Paul Guiragossian. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 35,580.00 (€ 41,229.10). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Guiragossian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Lutte De L'Existence in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 605,000.00 (€ 445,049.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIThe Finale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bénédiction von Paul Guiragossian zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 35.580,00 (€ 41.229,10) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Guiragossian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Lutte De L'Existence im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 605.000,00 (€ 445.049,29).
