In the Modern Art auction, the work Place De Village sold for EUR 2,423.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Émile Lecomte achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sur La Plage in January 2016 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 24,552.25).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Émile Lecomte erzielte im Juni 2009 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Place De Village für EUR 2.423,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Émile Lecomte erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sur La Plage im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 24.552,25).
