This artwork by Paul Émile Lecomte achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Bateaux à quai sold for EUR 8,528.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Émile Lecomte - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sur La Plage, which sold at auction in January 2016 for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 24,552.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Émile Lecomte erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Bateaux à quai für EUR 8.528,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Émile Lecomte mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sur La Plage beobachtet, die im Januar 2016 für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 24.552,25) versteigert wurde.
