Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2017 Koller held the auction Gemälde (West), which included the work Stadt am Wasser. by Paul Émile Lecomte. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 1,750.00 (€ 1,636.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Émile Lecomte achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sur La Plage in January 2016 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 24,552.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2017 führte Koller die Auktion Gemälde (West) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stadt am Wasser. von Paul Émile Lecomte zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 1.750,00 (€ 1.636,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Émile Lecomte erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sur La Plage im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 24.552,25).
