In November 2017 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Jacques Grange | Collectionneur, which included the work Les Princesses À La Terrasse, February 1894 by Paul-Elie Ranson. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 417,000.00 39% above the upper estimate. With this result, Les Princesses À La Terrasse, February 1894 is even the most expensive work of art by Paul-Elie Ranson that we have observed at auctions so far.
