Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Interieur des Pays-Bas by Paul de Lussanet was sold in the The Jan & Monique des Bouvrie Collection auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,062.50 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul de Lussanet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Virginia Woolf, which sold at auction in March 2012 for EUR 3,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Interieur des Pays-Bas von Paul de Lussanet wurde im September 2011 in der Auktion The Jan & Monique des Bouvrie Collection bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.062,50 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul de Lussanet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Virginia Woolf beobachtet, die im März 2012 für EUR 3.000,00 versteigert wurde.
