Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ronnie de Leeuw and Mientje Corein painting, with Mr de Vos as their model by Paul Citroen was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2000. The price achieved of NLG 6,436.10 (€ 3,015.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Citroen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 36,250.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 6.436,10 (€ 3.015,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
