Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lamentation 4 (Summer 2014) by Patrick Van Caeckenbergh was auctioned at Christies in Paris in May 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,625.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Patrick Van Caeckenbergh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Study with Angels) in 3 parts, which sold at auction in April 2014 for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,086.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lamentation 4 (Summer 2014) von Patrick Van Caeckenbergh kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.625,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Patrick Van Caeckenbergh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Study with Angels) in 3 parts beobachtet, die im April 2014 für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.086,16) versteigert wurde.
