Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ecriture No.050508 by Park Seo-Bo was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 3,000,000.00 (€ 317,123.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Park Seo-Bo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work ECRITURES NO. 10-79-83, which sold at auction in May 2017 for HKD 10,260,000.00 (€ 1,171,553.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ecriture No.050508 von Park Seo-Bo kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 3.000.000,00 (€ 317.123,18) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Park Seo-Bo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ECRITURES NO. 10-79-83 beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für HKD 10.260.000,00 (€ 1.171.553,93) versteigert wurde.
