The work Daphne by Park Min-Joon was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. It achieved a price of HKD 319,500.00 (€ 27,930.15), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Park Min-Joon; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Volare sold at auction in May 2007 with the realized price of HKD 420,000.00 (€ 39,992.57).

Die Arbeit Daphne von Park Min-Joon wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 319.500,00 (€ 27.930,15) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Park Min-Joon; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Volare im Mai 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 420.000,00 (€ 39.992,57).
