Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Can You Forgive Him by Park Min-Joon for HKD 8,400.00 (€ 8,578.04). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Park Min-Joon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Volare in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 420,000.00 (€ 39,992.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Can You Forgive Him von Park Min-Joon für HKD 8.400,00 (€ 8.578,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Park Min-Joon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Volare im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 420.000,00 (€ 39.992,57).
