In March 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Indian Art, which included this untitled work by Paritosh Sen. The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,375.00 (€ 5,931.67), 34% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paritosh Sen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ahmedabad Scene in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 84,000.00 (€ 66,209.51).

Im März 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Indian Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Paritosh Sen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 5.931,67) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paritosh Sen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ahmedabad Scene im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 84.000,00 (€ 66.209,51).
