A top price for Paritosh Sen - as previously expected
The work Ahmedabad Scene by Paritosh Sen was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2006. The price achieved of USD 84,000.00 (€ 66,209.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ahmedabad Scene is the most expensive artwork by Paritosh Sen that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Ahmedabad Scene von Paritosh Sen kam im September 2006 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 84.000,00 (€ 66.209,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden.
